Harvey is an extremely motivated student. After earning himself a high school equivalency diploma he enrolled in the CUNY Start program to strengthen his math skills before enrolling as a freshman at Borough of Manhattan Community College. He eventually plans to transfer to a senior college where he can take more courses in earth and atmospheric sciences and study weather forecasting. The WithinReach scholarship has allowed Harvey to buy books and materials he needs as well as help him with the cost of transportation.
